Engineer Emmanuel Ugwuowa has over 30 years of experience in the oil and gas construction Industry. A successful Engineer with a wide range of experience in Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation, in onshore, shallow offshore, and offshore facilities. He has an in-debt knowledge of quality assurance and control with some international certifications. He has strong leadership and communication skills, is able to motivate staff, and relates easily at all levels. Has a working knowledge of the International Safety Management (ISM) System, since 1995.
He is a COREN Registered Engineer, a Member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) and also the Nigerian Society of Chemical Engineers. Engr. Emmanuel Studied Chemical/Petrochemical Engineering at the Rivers State University of Science and Technology.
He has held senior management positions in several oil and gas servicing companies such as Baywood Continental Limited, EnergyWorks Technology Limited (a subsidiary of Nestoil group), etc.
He also spent over 18years working with the Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria Limited (SPDC) and Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company Limited (SNEPCO). During these periods, he participated in the delivery of some key critical projects for both SPDC and SNEPCO, such as Bonga Single Point Mooring(SPM), Bonny Terminal Integrated Projects(BTIP), 24” Nembe Corthorne Channel Truckline Replacement (NCTL), Soku The gas plant produced water project, etc
He joined Strides Energy and Maritime Limited in August 2019 as the General Manager (Operations/Technical).
