Soku Produced Water Project

Soku Produced Water Project

CLIENT: SPDC

PROJECT TITLE:   SOKU PRODUCED WATER DISPOSAL PROJECT

LOCATION: SOKU GAS PLANT, SOKU

VESSELS DEPLOYED:

Tug boat: MV GOSHEN

Barge: MV ZOE

SCOPE OF WORK:

Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation of the following at Soku Gas Plant:

MECHANICAL:

  • Installation of connecting line from spiking header to inlet header of export pumps P-5501 A/B/C
  • Installation of high-pressure disposal pumps and de-oiling packages (Obigbo PWRI Packages for Soku use)
  • Re-configuration, of existing Off-spec effluent pump P-5503A with a tap-off line routed to De-oiling/Injection packages. The pump will serve as a booster (in place of Obigbo service skid), taking suction from the condensate tank at atmospheric conditions and providing 4barg to de-oiling package and injection pump.
  • Repair and re-installation of standby Off-spec effluent pump P-5503B to enhance availability.
  • Verify routing of oil recovery line from the existing CPI unit to condensate/effluent lines. This line bypasses the condensate tank and needs to be verified if it can be routed to the water disposal line to the well.
  • Routing of recovered condensate from De-oiling unit to the condensate tank.
  • Verification of any extra requirements for chemical injection for scaling, microbial activity, and downhole flow assurance.

Suction for the new system will be taken off the existing off spec recirculation pumps’ discharge (for which suction is from the condensate storage tank T-5501) and routed through the service skid (bypassing the degasser and booster pump) and the separation module before being pumped via new piping to the disposal flowline and Well 017T.  The existing Obigbo PWRI pump package (inclusive of treatment and pumping skids) will be used to de-oil the produced water prior to disposal.

CIVIL & STRUCTURAL:

Construction of new foundation for the proposed location for the new pumping system, shed for the reinjection pump module and pipe supports.

DURATION: 10 months

STATUS: Completed
